Kanavinil vandu yenakku Ganapathi mandirathai,

Karunayudan  alitha Kanchi perum thakayin,

Thava thiru por padathil thanjam yendru adainthu,

English translation

 

Pallavi

Let us bow before the Guru,

Always let us bow before the Jagat Guru.

Anupallavi

The guru who rules over the Kama Koti Peetam,

In the town of Kanchipuram glances and showers his grace.

Charanam

I surrender to   the holy golden feet,

Of the great sage from Kanchi,

Who came in my dream and,

Taught me with mercy the Ganapathi chant
and salute it with joy.
