Thala  desh aadhi

Raga sudha rasa panama  chesi rajillave manasa

 

Anupallavi

 

Yaga yoga  thyaga bhoga  phala mosange

 

Charanam

 

Sadashiva mayamagu  nada onkara  svara,

Vidhulu jeevan mukthalu ani ,

Thyagaraju theliya.

 

English translation

 

Pallavi

 

Having drunk the nectar like juice of raga,

Have you not become happy?

 

Anupallavi

 

Which is the result of ritual, yoga, sacrifice , and enjoyment together.

 

Charanam

 

Thyagaraja knows  that the music,

Of the sound of “Om”  which is,

Completely occupied by Sadashiva,,

Is enjoyed by  the liberated souls.
