Daya cheyyave  brova ravamma

 

Anupallavi

 

Sevincha vaari kellanu Chinthamaniyaye ra

 

Charanam

 

1.Balaa neeve gathiyani  nine chala namminna na pai,

Parakela daya cheyya  neekidhi mela,

Divyamba kaladhhivarani, sad guna sheela , keervani,

Neela  niradaveni , triloka janani devi maheswari Bhavani.

 

2. Ambaa mukha nirajitha  , shatha dara bimba,

Rakshitha  devatha thavamma nata nija sutha guaham,

Herambamba , Shyamalamba , Bimbadhgari,

Gauri, Kadamba vihari , amba kambu kanthi,

 Hima shaila Vruksha palika devi Balambika Amba

 

3. Vani rema vanditha  rudranini  sathevaru,

Kalyani Shyama Krishna  nutha kirvani,

Veena vinodhini, Sri Chakra kona nivasini,

Girvana vandhitha  padaravinde shivaa.

 

English translation

Oh Goddess with fish like eyes come to protect me,

Show kindness to me  and come  to protect  me.

 

Anupallavi

 

For all those who have served you,

Come  as the wish giving gem.

 

Charanam

 

1.On me who has believed that you are my only help,

Is it all right for you  to neglect me and not shower your mercy,

Oh divine mother, Queen of time endowed with all virtues

Oh  goddess  who has a sweet voice who has long tresses of the colour of the cloud,

Oh Goddess who is the mother of the three worlds who is Bhavani and the greatest goddess.

 

2.Oh mother whose  face shines like hundred moons,

Oh mother who is  the protector of devas and who is saluted by Guha

Oh mother of Ganapathi ,  Oh Mother who is black  with red bimba like lips,

Oh Gauri who strolls in Kadamba forests ,Oh mother who has a conch like neck , Oh mother Balamba , Who protects  the trees  of the Himalaya mountain.

 

3.Oh Rudarni who is worshipped by Saraswathi and Lakshmi,

Oh auspicious goddess  who is praised by the black Krishna by singing KIrvani

Oh Goddess who enjoys Veena who lives in an angle of Sri Chakra,

Oh Parvathi whose lotus like feet is worshipped by devas.
