1.Pattilum, pala vilayattilum , dur vishaya,

Kattilum  budhi thanai  natti naal kazhithal

 

2.Tharathai, pillaigal samsarathi yenni,

Dur vyaparathile , namadhu nearathi kazhithal,

 

3.Taraikkul oru  Chan kuzhi irai kkaga.vellaikkara,

Duraikku kai katti sagum  varikkum uzhaithal

 

4.Parukkul varum kakshi kkara rukkum  pinnum inda,

Urukkum  uzaithu nam veerathai kulaithal

When would I think about it , heart,

When would I think of the feet of the lord, heart.

If you spend very many days thinking about wealth,

The youth of ladies  and the importance of your job,

When would you think the feet of the lord.

1.If you concentrate and spend days  in songs ,

Many sports  and in the forest of bad thoughts,

When would you think about the feet of the Lord

 

2. If you spend you time thinking about wife,

Children and life  and also in bad activities,

When would you think about the feet of the Lord

 

3.If we work hard for the white man till we die ,

For the sake  of food to fill  the hand wide hole,

When would you think about the feet of the lord

 

4.If we work for  the sake  of the party man who come on a visit

And to this city  and destroy whatever valour we have,

When would you think about the feet of the Lord

 

5.If we break our head by being near the lawers,

Who fight shouting till their throats slit.
When would we think about the feet of the lord

 

6.If we spend all our time  near the  ladies of this world ,

Believing all the tricks , when would think about the feet of the lord

 

7.Forgetting the holy lessons of Vedanayagam ,

And roam for a long distance  here and there

When would we think about the lord.
