Mylapoora karpagaamba namaankitha

Goddess who is called Karpagambika in Mylapore*,

Who is daughter of the king of mountains,

Who added luster to the king of mountains.

Sarva dharmavathi devi sakala

Sasthra bharitha nirvana sukha pradayini

Triloka janani trinayani

Thripurasura vairi sadashiva mana viharini
