Pallavi

Thinking that the dancing feet is my only redemption,

I could not find his city in spite of search everywhere

Anupallavi

For The shining of the  stage of  the Lord of Chidambaram (thillai),

Which is  praised all over the world, where the chant of Vedas is heard

Charanam

For the king of dances  who is worshipped  by Gopala Krishna,

Who is convinced that devotion only is grace,

The one who gives joy to Goddess Shakthi in the form of Shiva kami,

The lord of the world who is witness to everything,

The  one who won over the victorious God of love,

The one who swallowed the leftover food of the hunter,

The one who wears the fig garland on his chest,

And the one who stood as the five lettered Namasivaya,
