(Sage Neelakanta Sivan was a great composer belonging to South Travancore and lived at the end of 19th century. Annayum thandhayum neeye , Akhila bandhuvum neeye,

Annai umayaal neyaa, anbarakku arul sahaayaa

1.Pakalum iravum neeye-palathaan deivavum neeye,

   Sukavum dukhavum neeye-Soma chooda maniye

 

2.Igavum paravum neeye-Yella porulum neeye,

    Sakala kalayum neeye-Sambho dhaya nidhiye

  

3.Kanda thevayum neeye , kanathavayum neeye,

Kandaar  kakshiye , neelakanda krupanidhiye

 

English translation

 

Pallavi

 

I do not have any place of surrender other than you,

I do not have any one except you

 

Anupallavi

 

You are my mother and father, You are all my relations

Oh friend of mother Parvathi who showers grace on devotees

 

Charanam

 

1.You are day and night, you are all sort of Gods,

You are pleasure and pain , Oh God who wears moon as ornament

 

2.You are this as well as the other world, you are all the things,

You are all arts, Oh Shambo, Oh treasure of mercy

 

3.You are all that we see  and also all that we do not see,
