Abheeshta dhayini, Annapoorna dhevi,

Aahladha karee Aadhi Parashakthi

Shubhe, sakala sura sevitha paadhe,

Shuka hashthe, sada shiva sahithe

Visalakshi, visweshwari, Janani,

Kasi pura vasini, Kalyani,

Basamana ikshu dhanda pani,

Dasi, jana sreni, Dakshayani

 

English translation

 

Pallavi

She who fulfills our desires, She who is Goddess Annapurna,

She makes us happy , She who is primeval divine power.

 

Anupallavi

She who does good things  whose feet is served by all devas,

Who has parrot in her hand and is always with Lord Shiva.

 

Charanam

She who has broad eyes , goddess of universe , the mother,

One who lives in Benares, she who  is auspicious,

She who is shining and carries a sugar cane ,

She who is the servant of the people and daughter of Daksha,
