Neeradha ruchibara   mahishi  mada hara  veera,

Shabareswara  mangala karaka.

Madhava Shara  Tanaya , niramaya , mayamaya  natakola, punyodhaya,

Bhudhara aakara , bhuvana trayaadhara , bhutheswara, vana thulasidhara

 

English Translation

 

Pallavi

Oh God who looks after  Kerala ,

Oh  God whose habit  is mercy,  protect  me

Oh Son of Mohini  , Oh God who is swayed by devotees.

 

Anupallavi

Oh God full of the taste   of clouds ,

Oh destroyer  of pride of Mahishi

Oh Valorous lord of Shabhari  ,

Oh doer    of the auspicious

 

Charanam

Oh son of Lord Vishnu   and Shiva,

Oh   untainted one , The God who acts as if he is filled with illusion,

One in whom blessed   deeds  arise.

One has   the form which lifts the earth,

One   who is support     to all the  three   worlds.

The Lord of all Bhoothas, One  wears the Thulasi of forests.
