Mayandi chudalayil vaazhvaandi,kaliyudan,

Vathadi, choiothadi, vazhakkadi thirivaandi

Sundarkku thoothu nadanthavan ivan thandi,

Dumburu Naradar pattai kettandi,

SAnthosham vandhaal unnai thazhuva varuvaandi,

SAmayam vandhaal oru kaalai thookuvaandi

This magical beggar lives in cremation ground  with Kali

Arguing , gambling , arguing he will roam  here and there.

 

Charanam

He is the one who went as messenger to Sundara,,

He has  heard the songs of Dumburu   and Narada,

If he is happy he will come to hug you,

And if the time comes , he will lift one of his feet.
