Kadhu ondru  padaithal  ithai,

Ketka  vendum  , Krishna

 

Anupallavi

Jnanam tharum perimba monam  bhakthiyil ,

Abhimanam kidaikka , kanamenum  mana muruga,

Venum  hari  madhava, madhu soodana , yadhu nayaga , Jagan mohana

 

Charanam

Thathuvam illa jnanam  irunthennavo, illathennavo,

Sakala ulagum hari mayam yendru unarthumoru,

Dharmam illa karmam  irunthenavo , ilathenavo , verum,

Sathiyamillatha  pechai pesi   , yenna  peasadenna,

Thanadanga thavangalai  cheithu  yenna, cheyyathenna,

Bhakthiyila  pattukkalai paadi yenna, aadi yenna,

Patharutha  sukar  chonnna  bhagawatham , antha Krishna

 

English  translation

 

Pallavi

The song, the song of Krishna,

If we do posses  two ears,

These  should be heard , Oh Krishna

 

Anupallavi

In the joyful  stillness  given by  Jnana,

For getting recognition in devotion,

The  heart should  melt at least  for a second,

Oh Hari, Oh Madhava , Oh killer of Madhu, Oh leader of cowherds, Oh bewitcher of the world.

 

Charanam

What  is the use  of having or not having Jnana ,

Without the knowledge  that The entire world  is filled with Hari,

What  is the use of having or not having actions without Dharma,

What is the use of speaking or not speaking  words without  the truth,

What is the use of doing or not doing  penance without humility,

What is  the use  of singing or dancing   songs  without devotion,

This  is the Bhagawatha  told by Sukha  who is detached, the song , the song of Krishna.
