Bindhu chakra nilayam nirantharam Dhyayeth Sri Kamakshim.

Kanchi nagara viharam , shiva kalyana guna gana saram,

Kamaniya kalpitha nija maayaya karana karya vidhayaka dheeram

Nija moda sadaa ramaneeya shivamrutha nama japam,Subhagam,

Oh mind if you want welfare , always meditate on Sri Kamakshi ,
Who is in the middle point of the jeweled Sri Chakra which is in the ,
Ocean of the essence of great and divine joy.

She lives in the city of Kanchi and she is ,
The essence of the auspicious qualities of Lord Shiva.

She is bold enough to bring about the cause and effect ,
Of the pretty and imaginary , Goddess of illusion.

One who is really joyous , one who is always attractive , One who chants nectar like name of Shiva,
One who is auspicious,
One who is worshipped by Ganesa and Subramanya , one who has a pleasant face , one who is merciful creeper of a flowering wish giving vine.
Madhyama Kala Sahithyam
One who is an expert in art of music, One who teaches good notes to Gandharwa who worship him,
One who holds a pretty Veena made of Manikhya and who has a lotus like feet saluted by devas.
